Structural Engineer
Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join a professional Structural Engineering company on an initial 6 month contract basis in Central London. Our client has a wealth of knowledge and experience providing expert services to a variety of sectors including Residential, Leisure, Education, Retail, Mixed-Use and Industrial. Due to an increasing workload, they are currently seeking an enthusiastic Structural Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. The selected candidates will have a variety of roles and responsibilities, which will include: Providing detailed design calculations to specified quality and standards Conducting site visits to monitor progress Preparing design reports and reviewing work of others Participate in project meetings Assisting with the mentoring of junior team members Required skills and experience: Experience designing and assessing various forms in main materials Previous buildings experience Strong technical background and knowledge Confident communicator and comfortable in a client facing role Excellent written and verbal communication skills To apply for this position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK without visa restrictions.
