New Year, New You, New Career, New Home, New Care Registered Care Home Manager Salary: £55k (negotiable for the right candidate) Location: Cheadle, SK8 2DP Full time contract Start Date: as soon as checks are in place New Care Projects is a development-led care home operator providing ‘New Generation’ care facilities. From the initial concept and design of the building, through to construction, recruitment and care delivery, New Care carefully considers every last detail of each care facility. Our stunning new home Cheadle Manor Care Centre, a purpose-built 68 bed care facility and is situated in the popular location of Cheadle village. The home meets all CQC requirements and provides the highest standards of safety, comfort and care to residents who have a variety of care needs including residential, nursing and dementia. We invest in our homes to enhance the experience of our residents. This includes OOMPH an award winning activities and well being programme. We have also introduced electronic medication administration records and electronic care planning in all of our homes. In addition, Cheadle Manor will be our third home to have acoustic monitoring and silent nurse call installed. We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Home Manager who will efficiently manage the day-to-day running of the care home, allocate resources and monitor performance to deliver high quality care to residents. As the Home Manager you will directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for a team of staff dedicated to delivering exceptional care. Role Responsibilities: ·To ensure that the company policies and procedures are adhered to by all staff within the care home. ·To take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the care home. ·Manage the safety, quality and financial aspects of the care home ·Ensure that the care home team provide high quality and person centred care and support to residents and their families ·Build relationships with both internal & external key stakeholders ·To demonstrate leadership of the staff team and act as a positive role model, by a high level of personal visibility within all communities in the home. ·Promote the care home in the wider community both locally and nationally ·To ensure compliance with the Health & Social Care Act 2008 ·Any other duties commensurate with grade Skills and experience required: ·Registered Nurse or equivalent Social Care Qualification (Level 4 or above) ·Management Qualifications (Level 4 or above) ·Minimum of 2 year’s management experience in the care industry ·Broad experience of managing people, service and quality to achieve performance targets. ·Excellent time management and organisational skills, and ability to work on own initiative. ·Ability to communicate effectively and build lasting relationships ·Good team worker This position is subject to a DBS check
