Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Care Home Manager to join the team at this lovely nursing home for older people in Birmingham. Ideally you will have experience of managing a nursing home and application from those with and without a PIN will be considered. You must be a confident and assertive Home Manager and you will be responsible for full home management including auditing, risk assessments, safeguarding, staff supervision and guidance, training, medication management, care planning, occupancy levels and, underlying all of this, always ensuring high quality care is being provided. You must have an excellent understanding of the CQC standards and have the skills to ensure that standards are high from the outset and then work with the team to ensure these are maintained. As the Home Manager you will be pivotal to the well-being and advancement of the home and its team and so you must have strong leadership and communication skills. The successful candidate must have previous experience in a similar setting, with specific understanding of caring for older people. You must also have your Level 5 or equivalent and other relevant certifications to support your application. This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Care Home Manager to join a small organisation, passionate about delivering the highest standards of care to residents. The role is subject to an enhanced DBS and satisfactory referencing.
