Overview
Are you an Electrical Test Engineer looking to progress into a management position? Working for a leading organisation in the scientific industry, you will lead a team of test engineers, managing workflow and ensuring work is carried out in accordance to the correct standards. This role will combine hands on electrical testing, managing a team, as well as co-ordination and management of the workflow of all electrical test activities within the engineering function. You will be responsible for creating related documentation, identifying customer needs and translating into electrical designs, electrical testing of control machinery, equipment, and systems, to ensure conformance with specifications, and using electrical testing equipment and instruments to test wiring and locate any malfunctions. Suitable Test Managers will ideally have a strong testing background within an R&D/manufacturing environment, knowledge of electromechanical processes, as well as experience of managing staff and workflow.
