Overview

Our client is looking for a Front-End Engineer to join one of their cross-functional product delivery teams, helping their users gain a deep understanding of their own data through AI and ML. You'll spend most of your time building and shipping features. Working in a Scrum team with other colleagues from different specialisms such as AI and security to design, deliver, and operate features from beginning to end. In this role, the successful candidate will be using a modern stack of JavaScript and Typescript, React and PostCSS, with CSS3 and ES6. You'll be building against APIs provided by the client's own platform and will get the opportunity to shape those APIs for our customers. You'll be creating and reviewing design documents as well as code, and take ownership of the products you ship into production. Furthermore, you will be working on any server side Javascript Node or similar implementations to support the user interface. Responsibilities Take over design and mock-up from product management Convert mock-ups into technical implementation design Code the front end and supporting API and services to bring designs to life Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. Work with DevOps to integrate into CI/CD pipeline Requirements Good knowledge of modern web stack (React, JavaScript) Experience with single page applications talking to REST APIs Knowledge of user interface working with complex data sets and presenting complex data into a workable presentation Experience in understanding user needs Understanding of server side Javascript (such as Node) Benefits Competitive salary 25 days holiday per year to begin with Holiday Buys Scheme (Front End, React, Javascript, APIs, CSS, Typescript, ES6) (Front End, React, Javascript, APIs, CSS, Typescript, ES6) This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89891382
