Service Engineer
Overview
Our client is looking to recruit Service Engineers to work for one of the country’s fastest growing privately owned manufacturing companies. Good salary DOE and a fully equipped company service van. Responsibilities for the Service Engineer • You will be maintaining, servicing and repairing the complete range of Mobile and Static welfare cabins as well as Tower Lights. • You will be attending site breakdowns, carrying out fault-finding and repairs to the equipment. • You will manage administration tasks and complete all service and repair records accurately • Work well under pressure and retain a positive attitude to customer service. • Maintain Health and Safety to Company and HSE regulations. • You will be prepared to travel extensively throughout the UK and be willing to stay away for short periods as and when required. (fully expensed) To be successful: • You will have worked previously as a Construction Plant Service / Plant engineer, fitter, technician or mechanic. • You may well have an NVQ or City and Guilds qualification in plant maintenance or mechanical engineering but this is not as essential as extensive field based experience. • You will have experience carrying out maintenance and fault finding on single cylinder generator sets, hydraulics and pneumatics. • You will have good electrical knowledge and fault finding on 12v DC systems and be competent with 230V AC.
