Calibration Technician Permanent Position Double Day’s shift pattern (6-2:00 / 2-10:45) Competitive Hourly Rate 33 Days holiday package – Early Finish Fridays – Company Pension Scheme Birmingham Our client is a leading manufacturing organisation who are seeking Calibration Technicians/Testers to be based at their facility in Redditch. They are seeking engineers with a background in hot metals/furnace environments. Calibration Technician Job Description · Managing, scheduling and performing TUS, SAT and other calibration tests in accordance with Aerospace/Customer specifications · Ensuring compliance to health and safety procedures whilst conducting tests · Housekeeping and data entry on the company’s calibration database · Repairing or replacing any pyrometry equipment when needed · Performing calibrations for other machinery on site when required Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications required: · Experience calibrating industrial Furnaces/Ovens · Knowledge and understanding of TUS and SAT tests Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications required: · Working experience within a manufacturing environment.
