You will join us on a permanent basis working term time only and in return, you will receive a competitive salaryof £20,943 - £22,890 per annum, pro rata plus benefits. You will work with teachers to raise the learning and attainment of young people while promoting their social inclusion, self-esteem and independence. You will be supporting students across all vocational areas of the college, assisting them to access the curriculum, participate in learning and fulfil their potential. What we are looking for in our Communication Support Worker: - Qualified to Level 3 in BSL - Ideally have a formal CSW qualification - Able to use your own initiative while out in support of learners, dealing with situations with tact and empathy - The need to be flexible in your approach is imperative - GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths - Experience of working with people with supported learning needs As a successful and growing further education college we have ambitious plans for the future.
