DevOps Engineer Life as a DevOps Engineer at CarFinance247 is more than just writing scripts and administering servers. As a DevOps Engineer at CarFinance247 you’ll take an active role in promoting a culture of automation and monitoring, through knowledge sharing and best practices within both the DevOps and Software Engineering teams. Within the role of Devops Engineer you will be Ensuring infrastructure and applications are sufficiently monitored in both production and non-production environments Maintaining and advancing the CI/CD process Improving infrastructure automation and building tools to aid Software Engineers Resolving operational issues Analysing and improving the reliability and performance of services To be successful in the role of DevOps Engineers you will need the following skills and experience Essential: Docker/Containerisation Orchestration Continuous Integration and Delivery Monitoring / Logging with (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Jaeger) Scripting and deploying infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) Experience of Windows and Linux server administration Desirable: Cloud automation (Azure) Previous infrastructure migration experience Experience with security, compliance and Infosec Knowledge of database technologies (ELK, MongoDB, MSSQL & Redis) We are CarFinance247 and we get people the car they really want.
