QA Lead Be the driving force for a Quality First approach in a ambitious an talented technical team Have control and say over the direction of Testing processes Work on a high volume, technical insurance platform Join a company who are levelling the playing field for insurance An exciting, and growing company in the insurance space, are looking for a talented and driven QA Lead to help them improve their processes and approach to development, by developing a comprehensive test strategy and putting Quality at the front of their processes. You will join as the first in house QA, and have control over the direction and general approach to testing. Working closely with the Head of Engineering, and the development team, you will gain an understanding of the current approach, and the direction of further development, to then be able to create an effective test strategy that will be implemented moving forward. What you need: Experience working in Agile teams and a fast-paced environment - previous start-up experience a big plus Strong knowledge and appreciation for Test Automation and where it will add value Excellent communication skills to understand the current set up and implement your ideas Good understanding of testing throughout the SDLC Strong SQL experience with large data-sets What will make you stand out: A background in coding - whilst you won't be required to develop test frameworks the ability to read code and have input will help Previous experience in highly regulated markets such as finance, insurance etc. Experience developing and implementing test strategies What you need to do next: If this role sounds interesting, and you think you have the required experience, all you need to do is get in touch Call me: Email me: Linkedin: https://in/qa-couchman/
