Overview
A global business in fantastic offices in the heart of Sheffield are looking for a star candidate to join their team to initially cover a 12 month contract. This is a pricing accountant position where you will be a key part of the finance function, providing guidance with regards to pricing including modelling scenarios and working closely with non-finance areas of the business. You will have previous experience within a commercial finance function (ideally a pricing function) and exceptional analytical skills alongside strong interpersonal skills. -To work closely with partners to prepare and propose alternative fee arrangements that meet both client and business requirements. -Contacting partners to obtain details of pricing being offered and critically assess impact -Interpreting requirements within RFPs to develop the pricing approach -Taking responsibility for following up successful arrangements with partners at routine intervals, assessing profitability and checking for any scope change The person; Knowledge of pricing, calculating and presenting fee arrangements Confidence and initiative to bring ideas to the table Experience of influencing decision makers Excellent communication skills Professional approach Flexibility and ability to adapt to change Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
