Nationwide Opportunities Are you a Project Engineer in FMCG and looking for a new challenge, this role can be based at any one of our UK Bakery sites Due to expanding our existing team and continued investment in new product development we are interviewing now Working alongside the Head of Project Engineering and working with our Project Engineers, who are Industry experts, to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels. The Project Engineering Team are dedicated to executing Engineering projects throughout the UK bakery network from London to Scotland, therefore you’ll be fully mobile and able to travel as required. As part of our Project Engineering team you will be responsible for the delivery of all agreed engineering projects on time, to agreed standards and on budget ensuring that Continuous Improvement is embedded every time. We’re looking for a natural communicator, someone experienced in leadership and people management. You’ll be able to coach and influence the operational site teams to enable the very best support for your projects ensuring a clear understanding of new processes and technology. Our Project Engineers manage the sourcing of our suppliers and those relationships therefore you will be experienced in the negotiation and purchase of plant items and machinery for major projects. Working with our SAP system you will also ensure that our supplier agreements are managed effectively. We never compromise on Health & Safety or Quality therefore you will be responsible to drive our Health and Safety strategy, legislation and company standards in all project work as a priority. You will also be responsible to identify and instigate Food Safety and energy usage improvements within your area of responsibility. Family and values is what makes us different, and we are a proud bunch, join us and you too could be proud to be Warburtons Essential Ingredients An experienced Project Engineer with proven experience in an FMCG environment Possess an Engineering Qualification such as HND, HNC, BEng or equivalent Broad Experience of systems including SAP Working knowledge of CAD or similar Ability to read drawings and interpret designs Provide accurate and concise Ghant charts with milestones and target dates – critical path planning We work in a 24/7 fast paced environment therefore we will need you to be flexible in your approach and fully mobile across the UK Awareness of latest technology and engineering techniques applicable to drive efficiency improvements and ensure Best Practice Be influential, articulate and persuasive, a relationship builder- establishing credibility with both internal and external contacts at all levels Extra Dough At last and by no means yeast you will want to know what your breads worth.
