Calling all Former BCUHB employees In light of the current Coronavirus situation, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is experiencing very high demand on services over the coming weeks, which is also putting additional pressure on our teams. We expect there will be additional staffing required during this period so we are offering the opportunity for our former employees who have recently left the Health Board to take-up bank work contracts. Whilst the list of opportunities will change over the coming weeks we expect there to be roles across the three acute hospital sites and local community services. This applies for both registered and non-registered roles, but we also expect to have opportunities across other staff groups. Pay arrangements Your salary will reflect what you earned whist working at BCU, depending on the type of role you re-join into, but may also take into account more recent NHS Experience you may have. If you are a registered Nurse you will also be eligible to receive weekly bank pay for bank-only contracts and as a minimum would receive mid-point on the salary scale, but higher depending on previous experience. Block Bookings We may be able to offer bank workers the opportunity for securing block bookings for a longer periods. Once registered on the bank, even if the shifts you can work are not visible on the EOL portal, it is recommended that you email your interest in block bookings to the bank team who may be able to arrange it with the department.
