Overview
Job Description: To assist the organisation in providing both Patients, Staff and Visitors with a high-quality person centred and safe Pottering service. The Potholder must be flexible, adaptable and work to support other staff. Covering 24 hours seven days a week must be flexible Unsocial hours will be paid Monday to Friday after 8pm to 6am and Saturday at 41% and Saturday and Bank Holiday at 83% Physical Skills: • Loading waste & laundry luggage and transporting patients. Physical Demands: • Standing for long periods of time. • Lifting stocks / supplies. • Movement of waste laundry to disposal area. • Movement of trolleys, patients and patient’s belongings. Mental Demands: • Maintain level of general awareness during working day and being prepared to meet with patients who are unwell. Working Conditions: • Noisy environment. • Various high/low temperatures KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB No formal qualifications are necessary, as the post holder will be given the necessary training to undertake the relevant aspects of the job.
