Java Developer - (Sports Tech) - Microservices / Spring / Java - London Opportunity for an experienced Java Developer to join this exciting sports and media company building cutting edge digital experiences for sports fans and some of the biggest names within the sporting world. You'll be joining an exceptional team of Java Developers (Java, Microservices, Spring) and working in a mature Agile and DevOps culture. By operating within the digital, social media and broadcast space, they are forever evolving to meet the requirements of the animated sporting audience. They are accountable for producing, developing and handling digital platforms that reach sports fans on a global scale and for some of the biggest sporting names. You will work with a team of multidiscipline likeminded software engineers within a collaborative environment where you will be able to work with a wide range of data sources and providers from commentary, video, to live sports data. Requirements: Background in Java is essential (4 years minimum) Experience working in an Agile environment following TDD principals Microservices architecture, Spring, Git Strong communication team ethics Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps principals Nice to have: Understanding of Javascript Building RESTful APIs AWS Products An interest in Sport This is a great opportunity to join a company building exciting products with a great team.
