Overview

We're looking for talented Support Worker's to work for our client. They want to recruit an empathetic and enthusiastic individual looking to make a difference, with experience of supporting individuals who present challenging behaviours. Basic salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications, £18K - £22K plus sleep in allowance. Up to £24K available for Senior candidates. Please note: In this role you'll be required to work some unsociable hours and at weekends. Full shift patterns will be discussed at interview. The Role: Reporting to the Registered Manager and based in Reading or Bracknell, as the Support Worker you will be primarily responsible for supporting young males who display sexually harmful behaviours. Specifically, in the job you will be responsible for: Working with a team on a varied rota consisting of evenings, weekends and sleep ins Ensuring the young people's physical and psychological welfare is well looked after Engaging the young people in various activities Supporting their educational needs and help them learn independent living skills The Candidate: The ideal candidate for the Support Worker role will have demonstrable, relevant experience of supporting individuals who present challenging behaviours.
