Class 1 Store Delivery Driver

Virtue Recruitment Services Ltd are currently recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers for our client based at Lanark. We are looking for class 1 drivers for a mix of store and trunk work for our client as their work load increases due to continued growth and new contracts in 2020. You must be willing to help unload when required but not all the time using a tail lift as this work consists of cages. This work consists of refrigeration work. We have day shift & night shift available. This work will involves delivering items in cages to clients all over Scotland. In order to apply for this role you will require the following : Current HGV CE licence Good time keeping Hard working Physically fit Good communication skills ( will be required to keep in touch with transport office ) Minimum 6 months experience with C ( new drivers may also be accepted so don't let this put you off from applying ) Valid Driver Qualification Card (drivers CPC) Up to date Tachograph card Previous experience in this type of role is preferable but not essential. Must be able to opperate a taillift. In return, your day rate will start at £12.00 p/h and £13.00 p/h night rate. Saturday starts a £14.00 and Sunday £16.00 PAYE.
