We have created a new field-based Training and Competency Team to support our Advisers and Regional Managers based across the UK. This new role will be Home/Field based with travel covering south of Bristol; Dorset, Devon and Cornwall. This role was created to achieve and maintain competence and minimum standards sales performance from our self-employed Equity Release Advisers in our "The Equity Release Expert", Appointed Representative Division. Day-to-day these are a few things you will be involved with; Instruct, coach and monitor individuals, producing reports and individual training plans. Set up and maintain on-line training records. Identify areas where Advisers can improve their standards and associated risk ratings. You will be responsible for improvement of standards of advice within "The Equity Release Expert". Complete the T & C requirements for self-employed advisers and evaluate assessments of self-employed Advisers. Supervise individual Advisers in accordance with the approved training and competence scheme. Evaluate the effectiveness of all training provided through ongoing observations, feedback, and pre and post course statistics. Assessing Adviser skills and knowledge and facilitate the delivery of training. Identifying training needs and implementing the training to address them. Identifying 'standard' complaints and implementing ways to reduce them. Generate innovative ideas & seek to continuously improve all aspects of our Sales Teams including using a paperless way of reporting. Give ideas to enhance the T & C system to keep it up to date. Assess current and future training needs for the business in conjunction with the Sales Management team. Get new advisers to CAS as soon as possible so they will take over and 'buddy' the new advisers following completion of the induction course. Complete sign off requests to T&C Manager for Advisers. Check pre 2ndappointment client files and cases over £250,000. Observe appointments between advisers and clients. Be second point of contact after Regional Managers for vulnerable clients' appointments. Home/Field based role with travel covering south of Bristol; Dorset, Devon and Cornwall. Occasional travel to head office in Preston, Lancashire. Induction period of 4 weeks to be held in head office. Essential Skills Extensive knowledge and experience of equity release products, services and sales ideally with sales supervision exposure. Professional qualifications - CeMAP qualified with lifetime mortgage exam (CeRER), or equivalent. Successful history of sales of equity release or similar products with excellent compliance results. Knowledge of all aspects of what is required to be a fully compliant and competent Field Equity Release Adviser or equivalent. Please note that a full UK driving licence is essential for this role. Desirable Skills Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels. Personal Effectiveness, including enthusiasm, self-motivation and ability to work under own initiative. Ability to multitask effectively & meet tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail. Computer literate, e.g. highly proficient in PowerPoint. Pro-active: forward thinking.
