Overview
Want to work for a company where you do not stagnate in one position? Is training a big thing for you? If you answered yes to any of the above, you need to get in touch to discuss this opportunity The organisation in question are based in Manchester (Just inside of the centre) and they are keen to recruit experienced Senior Software Developers, ideally with suitable amount of experience as a senior, strong mid-level developers with 3 years' experience considered. Although this role is 'full stack' they are keen to speak to applicants with a strong background working with Microsoft .NET technologies. You'll be working on cutting edge projects, primarily enterprise in scale. As a Senior Software Developer, you'll be expected to work across the full Software Development Lifecycle, working with both internal and external teams whilst acting as a mentor to up and coming Junior developers. You'll also be given a voice, encouraged to research and suggest new technologies if you feel they'd be more suitable for the respective solution. As an organisation, they are extremely keen to be a company that keeps up to date and manage to aid the whole development process. Using tools such as Visual Studio subscription, Management Studio 2017, ReSharper, Azure DevOps etc help to do so. In terms of the specific candidate requirements, rather than simply regurgitating the job description, I wanted to highlight a few key areas below: Tech Stack - Microsoft (C#, .NET, MVC ) is preferred, but any experience with wider languages/frameworks such as Angular is beneficial. They are a 'true tech company' and like to hire people who aren't just confined/limited to a single technology area. Development - due to the nature of the organisation (e.g. Consultancy), a passion for all things web and the drive to build something big from the ground up. The Ideal candidate will have the ability to create high quality, usable and scalable web applications from day one. In return, you will benefit from an above market-rate salary (£30,000 - £60,000), varied benefits package and the opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies in a forward thinking company. Moreover, you will be given a tailored 'T-shaped' progression route, with opportunities to move into the Technical Lead, Development Management and Software Architecture later on down the line.
