Overview
Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation based in Glasgow, are currently looking to recruit 4 x Cloud Consultants for initial 3 month contracts on rates of £400-500/day (inside of IR35). The roles will be remote based. Responsibilities: • Application Development on Azure. • Platform Automation and DevOps on Azure. • Technical leadership in architecture, development and deployment of Azure based solutions. • Develop IP, best practices and knowledge assets to be re-usable and shared across the community. • Embed DevOps practices and automation into delivery. • Actively contribute to a culture of high performance, innovation and continuous improvement. Requirements: • Hands on experience in developing and deploying enterprise solutions, with Microsoft technology stack preferred. • Hands on experience in designing and deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure platform. • Experience with public cloud platforms, including design and implementation. • Appropriate certifications in Azure and associated technologies (desirable). • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services, including understanding their capabilities and limitations and being able to architect and deliver solutions leveraging various Azure platform services. • Experience in implementing applications using cloud platforms. • Experienced in working in agile/DevOps environment with continuous integration and continuous deployment and application lifecycle management. • Experience working with the following toolsets (or similar): Jenkins, Gitlab, Terraform, Windows Server. • Public sector experience is highly desirable.
