Overview
The Redline group have an exciting opportunity for an Electroplating Process Engineer to join our rapidly growing, global semiconductor client, based in in Newport, South Wales. As an Electroplating Process Engineer, Newport, South Wales you will be working on the forefront of technology in the Photonics field for a global client who are producing game changing products across the industry. The Electroplating Process Engineer, Newport, South Wales is responsible for providing PVD/Electroplating expertise to design/Process teams and Partner fabs to improve cycle time, yield and quality of metallization/bonding processes for products. This candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in related fields of Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or Applied Physics and have 5 of related experience in process manufacturing or as Process Development Engineer in a MEMS, semiconductor, or other relevant production fab environment. They will also have extensive knowledge of metallurgy, such as compatible metal systems, appropriate adhesion and diffusion barriers, phase diagrams, failure modes etc. This is a fantastic time to join a highly successful, industry leader in their field that offers abundance of development and career progression.
