You will be updating and analysing the data behind a range of financial products, collating reports and liaising with providers. In return, you will be able to develop an extensive knowledge of the financial services industry and a structured career path. Your duties will include: Accurately extracting and entering financial data onto an MS Excel based system. Analysing data to produce accurate financial charts and figures to be used in national industry publications Working to identify and deliver data solutions in order to improve overall efficiency. Managing relationships with financial service providers, with respect to the provision of data. Keep up to date with latest financial news and product change so these can be summarised. Providing analytical support to other teams with regards to internal project and investigations. Becoming a subject matter expert for specific product areas. Working in collaboration with the rest of the team to deliver up to date financial information within deadlines. You will have/be: Recent experience of working within the financial services industry, ideally in a retail banking or mortgage broking environment. A good understanding and knowledge of relevant personal financial or mortgage products. Highly numerical with accurate data entry skills, coupled with advanced MS Excel knowledge. Confidence in handling large volumes of data in a clear and structured way. Professional and confident verbal and written communication skills. Proactive in your approach to identifying and implementing improvements to data efficiency. Methodical approach to problem solving. Ability to work effectively under pressure. This is a full time, permanent position working in offices based in central Norwich. This role will be working 9:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday and offers 25 days holiday bank holidays, enhanced pension scheme, group life insurance and free staff parking.
