Overview

Southend Council are looking for a 16 experienced Social Worker for a fixed term contract until September 2020. My Client offers excellent progression opportunities with fully funded training encouraged by senior management. The successful candidate is required to provide professional and comprehensive casework to a caseload of young people appropriate to experience and capabilities. The post holder will be responsible for working with looked after children to prepare them for independence (care leavers) along with unaccompanied asylum seeking children (UASC). You will be required to make sure every young person will have a professional and comprehensive Pathway Plan/Pathway Needs Assessment & Risk Assessment - This post offers the opportunity for a worker to develop their knowledge and skills and to be creative in their work within the community.
