Analytical Chemist - Lab Tech

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a global manufacturing client and employer of choice in the area for an Analytical Chemist working within the Quality Assurance Team. Educational Background: Although there is some degree of flexibility, we are ideally looking for an individual who has already gained some experience within an Analytical Lab with a Degree in Chemistry or a relevant Scientific Qualification. Reporting to the Chemistry Manager within a manufacturing environment (non-food) where the primary purpose of the role is to analyse finished products and raw materials to the company’s specifications, meeting statutory, regulatory and customer requirements within Good Control Laboratory Practices (GCLP) and Analytical Quality Control (AQC) framework. Experience with any of the following also deemed helpful, although again some flexibility cGMP, HPLC, CAPA, Change Control, Validation of Products and Equipment God attention to detail, the ability to work with limited supervision, experience with Excel. You will also: Test raw materials and incoming materials according to the appropriate specifications Perform in process checks on bulk products pre and post filtration as necessary Ensure the lab equipment is regularly calibrated Prepare and maintain a range of standard solutions and bench reagents used in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of incoming samples within the cGLP framework Record all results as per cGMP standards Assist the Chemistry Lab Manager in the validation of new and existing test methods and in the investigation of specification samples/batches Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm Free onsite parking Excellent benefits If you have the skills and knowledge skills we are seeking, please email your CV and suitable applicants will be contacted immediately.
