Senior Network & Security Engineer - MSP Leeds / Bradford Up to £60,000 car allowance Interaction IT have partnered with a leading managed service business in West Yorkshire. Due to continued year on year growth and business expansion, my client requires an experienced Senior Network & Security Delivery Engineer to manage their customers R&S, infrastructure and virtualised systems. The Company One of the UKs fastest growing MSPs with an annual turnover in excess of £40m with anticipated growth of almost 20% for 2020. As a leading managed service business, my client operates across the private and public sector, deploying on-premise solutions to cloud / hybrid infrastructure deployments. Ideal Candidate With at least 5 years commercial experience, the successful candidate ideally will have had exposure to all the following technologies: Routing and Switching (CCNA / CCNP) Datacentre switching Extensive Firewall knowledge (Cisco ASAs, FTDs and Palo Alto) Cisco ISE and Stealthwatch Wireless (Cisco, Meraki and Aruba) The Role The role of the Senior Network & Security Delivery Engineer is to provide technical excellence to my clients customers during the delivery of projects and service escalation. Key Responsibilities Complete project delivery tasks such as installations, upgrades and migrations of server and storage solutions - working with Project Management team and customer to ensure all deliverables are successfully achieved Ensure project completion tasks are completed Including the creation of technical documentation and diagrams Provide accurate and timely technical information and updates to our customers throughout all client engagements. Technical understanding in the following areas: Routing and Switching (CCNA / CCNP) Datacentre switching, including Cisco Nexus Service Provider technologies such as MPLS, BGP, VRF, VXLAN, etc Extensive Firewall knowledge, including Cisco ASAs, FTDs and Palo Alto IPS, web filtering and client/site-to-site VPNs Cisco ISE and Stealthwatch Wireless including Cisco, Meraki and Aruba Desirable skills to include: Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 Office 365 Public Cloud: Azure and AWS Hyper-V and VMware ESXi / vSphere Storage: Dell Compellent / EqualLogic / NetApp Unix / Linux You will also be required to complete technical training and certifications as required, including on-call rota cover.
