Overview

Interim HR / People Manager with knowledge and experience of CQC regulations National charity is seeking an experienced HR / People Manager to support at one of their London care homes based in Cromer, Norfolk. This is an interim role to start ASAP until June 2020 initially and will pay £19.20 per hour. The HR / People Manager will lead on all people-related issues within their Care Home. They will provide high quality, practical management on all people matters, including performance, supervision and HR advice to support the registered manager and local management team. The People Manager will also be responsible for proactively driving recruitment forward in line with processes and CQC compliance. Responsibilities will include: - Lead on all people-related issues and support the registered manager in their work of providing a first class service to residents - Implement effective staff planning, with department evaluation and procedures to improve effectiveness with our people. - Drive recruitment, including involvement in full lifecycle (screening, interviewing, post offer processes, induction and probation). - Support internal teams with the design and delivery of personal growth opportunities and development plans for all staff. - Develop, coordinate and enforce systems, policies, procedures and productivity standards across all area of the home. The ideal HR / People Manager will have the following knowledge, skills and experience: - Previous experience in a HR / People Manager role (Ideally CIPD Level 7 or equivalency in experience) - Performance management with coaching and supervision experience - Experience of the recruitment and selection of staff - Excellent working knowledge of employment law - Experience and knowledge of working within CQC Regulations - Excellent written and verbal communication skills and assertiveness - Adaptable and flexible with a desire to take on additional responsibility - Ability to build strong working relationships and build trust The successful candidate will be required to work 35 hours a week, (working 5 days in 7 - including weekends).
