Overview
We are recruiting 2 Interim Commercial Managers for a West Midlands based Local Authority. The roles will provide the opportunity to lead on the development and implementation of specific new commercial initiatives across the Council in line with their newly approved Commercial Strategy. The main purpose of the roles are to: - Drive forward new commercial initiatives across the Council from concept to implementation - Support the development of commercialism across the Council. We are looking for someone with the following: - Experience of working on the implementation of new commercial activity and initiatives within the public sector - Excellent business acumen within a local government context - Experience of writing and evaluating business cases - Experience of developing new products and ideas - Ability to translate strategy into operational policy - Ability to negotiate outcomes with a variety of leaders and managers - Ability to affect and deliver change - Ability to write concise reports - Ability to work with a range of stakeholders The roles are for 6 months based in central Warwick. Rate is negotiable.
