Job Title: General Warehouse Operative Location: Cheshire (WA8) Salary: £8.41 p/h- £11.00 p/h O/T when required Shifts : Early, Late and Night Shifts available 37.5 hours Contract Type: Temp The Company Our Client, a National Food Distributor are looking to recruit General Warehouse Operatives for their distribution centre in Cheshire (WA8). The distribution centre provides Fresh Products to numerous UK stores. Individuals will be part of a support team to the assist the current operation and full time As a General Warehouse Operative, your duties will be: - Packing orders within set time frame and ensuring all picking standards are met ( working to targets). - Using AMT scanners, PPT trucks and cages to complete orders before transporting to locations. - Using Manual handling best practices to lift up to 10 kilos as part of the picking process. Products are Fresh products and PPE required and provided. - Be flexible and committed to providing excellence in all aspects, with a keen eye for detail. - Be able to demonstrate a proactive approach when planning and be able to react positively to day to day challenges. The Positions are expected to be for up to a minimum 8 week period however this is subject to change. You must be available for an immediate start.
