Overview
We are recruiting an Interim Business Development Officer for a West Midlands Local Authority who can work with Traded Services across the Council to support the delivery of a newly approved Council Commercial Strategy. The main purpose of the role is to: - Provide account management and customer care support to customers, particularly schools. - Develop new products to bring to the market. Working with Traded Services across the Council the post holder will identify new product ideas and take them forward through customer testing into product development which will involve costing and pricing the offers, before preparing them for launch to the market. We are looking for someone who has excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a positive attitude to delivering change. Experience of working in customer focussed environment with excellent analytical and financial skills will be essential for the role. 6 month temporary role based in Central Warwick. Rate negotiable.
