Head of Technical

Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing are pleased to be working with one of the UK's largest metals producer in the appointment for a Head of Technical. A fantastic opportunity to join a market leader in its industry, with a turnover of £100m; c150 employees, operating on a Global Scale. This Head of Technical role and main purpose will be to develop and maintain an ongoing technical and quality operation whilst implementing changes across areas of process, systems and overall business performance, with a view to have input in the site development and growth plans. Head of Technical - Duties & Responsibilities: -You will be responsible for all aspects of Metallurgy, Lab, Process and QHSE across the department, ensuring ISO policies are adhered too and requirements are met -Plan and prepare a technical quality programme to highlight business opportunities -Take the lead across a range of existing and new technical projects; manage the technical team in effective project delivery -Review, develop and monitor a range of KPIs across this business unit and ensure all reports have the required skill set to meet their individual job functions -Budget management; support and manage the wider business unit to achieve financial targets and objectives and provide strategic CAPEX plans for future improvements -Operating as part of the senior management team, you will work closely with the wider business and where required develop relationships with customers and suppliers Elevation Recruitment Group are keen to speak with individuals that possess the following skills: -You will be Degree qualified in Chemistry, Metallurgy or Materials Science, with a recognised HSE qualification, NEBOSH preferred -Strong man manager with business and ISO management skills -Proven track record in business financials and budget management with the ability to implement and roll out strategies -Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must to operate in this senior role -Proven experience working in a similar role where you can demonstrate exceptional results If this role is of interest and you meet the above requirements, please make contact today or there is someone in your network you would be happy to recommend, please make contact today.
