Overview
Due to the Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic, Reed Health and Care are recruiting for Support Workers to support one of several packages of care in the Leeds community. These regular shifts are to be covered ASAP and will be ongoing throughout the year. Pudsey Supporting two young men within their home. Both customers have cerebral palsy and a learning disability. Both customers are reliant upon a wheelchair. Monday-Friday, 07:30-09:30am and 05:30pm-07:30pm. Requirements Demonstrable experience of working with clients with learning and physical disabilities. DBS on the update service. Calm and caring disposition. Strong communication skills. Available to cover both early and late shifts. Available to cover 2/3 shifts a week. £9 per hour. Roundhay Supporting a mum with 3 Primary School age children. Customer has brain injury and needs support with day to day tasks, such as ensuring the children are ready for school, collecting the children from school, supporting with homework, tea and bedtime routine. Sunday- 4pm-9pm Monday- 6am-9am, 3pm-9pm Tuesday- 6am-9am, 3pm-6pm Wednesday- 6am-9am, 3pm-9pm Thursday- 5pm-9pm Friday- 6am-9am, 3pm-6pm. Requirements Demonstrable experience of working with clients with physical or learning disabilities. Experience of working with children. DBS on the update service. Calm and caring disposition.
