Brook Street are recruiting for highly motivated and flexible individuals to join the NHS team based in Broughton, Preston. Your job title will be EOC SUPPORT, Emergency Operation Centre. £10.09 - with additional shift allowance for nights, weekends and Bank Holidays Due to the recent Covid19 outbreak we are looking for reliable and committed individuals to support the exceptional NHS Staff within the Ambulance Service control Hubs The post holder will be responsible for managing inbound calls ensuring they are managed appropriately in line with Trust policy and procedures, ensuring the calls are managed and directed appropriately. This role is in a busy, patient focused environment, handling incoming calls from patients. You will be managing internal and external queries and liaising with other internal teams and medical services. This role requires a calm and focused approach. These opportunities are 37.5 hours per week across 24 hours / 7 days a week 4-week rota period - You must be fully flexible to work all shifts including Bank Holidays (please do not apply if you can`t) Ideally you must be able to drive due to location of work and be willing to travel to a different North West location for training - free parking on site This is a vary varied and challenging role. We are looking for strong professional applicants with exceptional customer service skills, this must be demonstrated on your CV. You must be good at communicating with all different types of people. You must be patient and have lots empathy and the ability to make decisions on your own when needed. You must be proactive and enjoy working in a bust and demanding environment. You must be able to provide us with full referencing and pass an Enhanced Criminal Records Check.
