Finance Manager Stansted £50,000 - 60,000 StormX is delighted to be working with a growth orientated local business. This client is looking for an ambitious Finance Manager to help them through a period of exciting growth. This is a fantastic development role for an enthusiastic, recently qualified accountant or finalist with a strong background in financial control. The ideal profile will be a newly qualified Accountant or Finalist who has a strong Accounting background either in Audit or financial control. You will have excellent systems skills, be extremely confident with excel and be skilled at presenting complex data in a simplified and concise manner. You will also be a people person and keen to work with and develop the small, existing finance team. Duties: Ensuring the ?accuracy of company accounts?, establishing ?controls? and procedures. Posting journals and reviewing all accounts. Producing ?monthly Financial Accounts? for all group entities. Ensuring appropriate regular Balance sheet, Bank and commercial system reconciliations. Reconciling the in-house systems to give confidence in the data presented. Driving significant ?system improvements? and system led controls at a time of rapid growth for the business. Managing the statutory reporting processes. Develop a small finance team Supporting the review of monthly performance against forecast and prior year. Support the timely issue of the Reporting Pack Owning the production of timely and accurate weekly trading and commercial statistics. Identifying and fixing issues with existing data. Skills and profile: Well organized and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Fantastic attention to detail. Team management Strong integrity and a good moral core. Willingness to challenge and challenge the status quo.
