Overview
Installations Engineer Wantage , overseas travel required up to 30% time spent away from home £35,000 - £40,000 Global CTS is working with a specialised technical manufacturer based on the outskirts of Wantage. Due to recent rapid growth an exciting opportunity for a Installations Engineer has arisen to join the Security Project Delivery team of three. You will come from a background where you are capable of arriving on client sites who will of already installed the hardware, you will then install all the software, but must have an technical background to understand how systems work. Strong IT skills are essential, as a example if you have set up a router and WIFI at home and can easily rectify faults then you will have the right level for this role. Occasionally you will be asked to climb (safely) to heights of around 10 meters. You will also be expected to travel all over the world to customer sites. Skills and Experience: 2 years engineering experience in an installations environment Proven "hands-on" practical experience (highly desirable) Good IT skills including Windows, networks, basic trouble shooting Excellent problem-solving skills Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills, high level of integrity and the ability to liaise confidently with the customer in a high-pressure environment Good organisational skills Aptitude for quickly learning new software tools and hardware systems Please contact Helen at Global CTS Recruitment for a full job description and further details about the role.
