WR Fundraising Recruitment is delighted to be working with a very prominent regional children’s charity. We have an exciting Senior Community & Events Manager vacancy for an experienced fundraising manager to lead a friendly team and help the charity achieve its income targets within the local area covering the Thames Valley. At an exciting time of development with an ambitious long term growth strategy, we are looking for an experienced community and/or events fundraiser with line management experience to lead on the development and delivery of our community and events fundraising programmes to maximise supporter recruitment, retention and ultimately lifetime value Community & Events Fundraising Manager Full Time, Permanent Oxford Circa £37,000 - £44,000 on experience Duties will include: Develop and deliver the Community and Events Fundraising programmes to increase income Lead, manage and inspire the Community and Events Fundraising team, ensuring they are effectively trained, developed and motivated Lead on the creation and management of annual plans and budgets for community and events fundraising Develop and manage income and expenditure budgets, providing regular management reporting of progress against target Work with the team to create and embed supporter journeys that support repeat and long-term financial support Lead on product development and innovation across events and community fundraising Lead on the development of a new strategy for in memory fundraising to grow income, an identified area of growth Work with the Events Fundraising Manager to ensure we offer a balanced portfolio of fundraising events The ideal candidate will have: Significant experience in community and/or events fundraising and a successful track record in growing income in these areas Solid leadership and management skills Experience in developing and delivering business and operational plans Experience in developing and delivering complex income and expenditure budgets Experience of managing and developing a high performing team Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the ability to carry out presentations and pitches, and to produce written documents to a high standard Experience of in memoriam fundraising For further details or to apply, please email a copy of your up to date CV in the first instance.
