Overview
Exciting opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business based in South Leeds within the finance team. Joining as part of a wider finance team the Accounts Payable Assistant will report directly to the financial controller. Your duties include the following; High volume invoice processing - using bespoke software Dealing with any queries, liaising with internal staff and suppliers Posting and coding invoices with accuracy and in a timely matter Identifying errors and resolving Monthly reconciliations of supplier statements Weekly and monthly payment runs Liaising and reporting directly to the finance controller with any issues which may arise Assist with any ad hoc duties to support the finance department With a proven track record for growth within the company this opportunity will help develop your career within the accounts sector. You will gain exposure to a high volume end to end accounts payable process. Ideally you will have previous experience in or knowledge of; high volume invoice processing, previous experience in a similar role, knowledge of Excel and finance software. An understanding of the manufacturing industry would be desirable.
