Overview

We are looking for a Finance Administrator to join our team based in Skelmersdale to support our existing finance team of four, delivering high quality work within a fast paced and deadline driven environment. The role is a full time position for a fixed term contract of 18 months. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £17,000 - £20,000 per annum plus benefits. What’s in it for you? As a global company with offices around the work, you may find opportunities to further your career in directions you might not expect. - Salary range £17,000 - £20,000, dependent on experience - Flexible holiday scheme - Healthcare scheme many more benefits As our Finance Administrator you will support the finance department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of ledger transactions, undertaking of accounting tasks and ad hoc projects as required. What you’ll be doing as our Finance Administrator : - Accounts receivable credit control - Ledger processing of purchase invoices - Support processing of sales invoices as required - Support Sales and purchase ledger maintenance and review - Handle financial paperwork and filing - Assist the finance team in the month-end and year-end process to meet group reporting and delivery requirements - Assist with internal and external audits - Provide timely and accurate financial information to the finance director & team including adhoc financial analysis as required - Support Ad-hoc projects What we’re ideally looking for in our Finance Administrator : - A minimum of 1 years’ experience of working in a finance team - Experience and knowledge of accounting terminology - Ability to demonstrate strong administration experience with excellent organisation skills and a willingness to learn - Excellent attention to detail with high levels of accuracy - Experience in ledger processing preferable - Technical accounting ability preferable - Proven track record of meeting challenging deadlines - Competent excel skills - Knowledge of Sage200 (desirable) - AAT (desirable) You should be; - Approachable with friendly personality - Hard working, organised and punctual - Motivated and enthusiastic - Team worker with ability to work under own initiative - Accurate and consistent performance - Able to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions Interested?
