Overview
SIPP and SASS Pensions Administrator Location: South Manchester Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 Our client is an established firm of Financial Planners based in South Manchester who specialise in Pensions Administration. An additional Administrator is now required to join their established and expanding team to work on their SIPP products. The role is varied and will require a wide range of skills to undertake the day-to-day duties. Candidates applying for the role will be responsible for all aspects of administration for SIPP and SSAS products including those holding commercial properties and will be dealing with surveyors, lenders and solicitors on a regular basis as well as financial advisers. Responsibilities Provide administration for our SIPP products including SIPPs holding portfolios of properties Provide administration for our SSAS product including setting up new and taking over existing SSAS schemes Responsible for all aspects of administration for our commercial properties held in our SIPPs and SSASs Deal with surveyors, lenders and solicitors on a regular basis. Responsible for all aspects of SIPP administration from new business to settling benefits. Responsible for all aspects of SSAS administration including settling benefits Use the HMRC online services Deal with financial advisers, clients and a range of investment and pensions providers. You will need to be able to work quickly and accurately. Need to be able to work under pressure. Share knowledge and support less experienced members of the team. It is important that you build relationships with our advisers and clients and deliver an exceptional service. Ensure all statutory and disclosure requirements are met in a timely manner. Be the first point of contact for queries received from Financial Advisors from all over the world, providing them with a very well supported service. The successful candidate f should come from a Pensions background with experience of SIPP and / or SASS schemes. You should have solid communication and articulation skills as well as the ability to multi-task with a good technical knowledge of financial instruments and processes.
