Overview
A large M&E service provider are currently recruiting for a Mobile Fire & Security Engineer to cover a number of sites across Portsmouth/ Southampton and surrounding areas. This permanent opportunity is offering a basic salary of up to £34,000 per annum with a company vehicle & fuel card etc, Further Training opportunities and progression can be offered. Job Role: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, Overtime available. To carry out system maintenance and reactive works to automatic fire detection and alarm systems. Working as part of a team dealing with all aspects of fire & Security and additional work requirements. Duties & responsibilities: · To install and maintain electronic installations and equipment including satellite systems in an effective, efficient and professional manner to the complete satisfaction of all of our direct and indirect clients · To provide support to both on-site engineers and clients. · You will also be responsible to carry out system maintenance, reactive and small or extra works to, CCTV, access control, security systems, automatic fire, fire extinguishing and fire aspiration alarm systems comprising of both internal and external clients. · Carry-out and supervise planned preventative maintenance activities · Upgrades and system repairs · Modifications in line with contract requirements · Regular communication with the client on Key Point Indicators, and service level agreements Skills Required: The successful candidate must be; · Appropriate trade qualification or equivalent experience · Experience of Installation, testing and maintenance of CCTV, Intruder, Intercom, Access Control and Fire Alarm systems · Proven ability to service and repair fire detection systems, gas extinguishing systems and security systems. · FIA training and certification for fire detection and gas extinguishing systems. · Willing to travel. · Smart, presentable appearance. · Full driving licence necessary (preferably clean).
