Overview
Our client, an award winning software house, seeks a Java Developer to develop and maintain a state of the art enterprise class web application architectured using Java, Spring and Hibernate. The Java Developer will be responsible for efficient design of enterprise quality software, using established design patterns, be proactive in code reviews, testing and bug fixing and continuous improvement of existing code base. You will be working in an agile environment supported by the full Atlassian development suite. Candidates will ideally be educated to degree level with strong core Java, web application and XML experience plus MS SQL, MySQL, or other similar relational databases. Experience developing Insurance software applications would be a bonus. To be considered candidates must possess excellent communications skills and be prepared to voice their opinion during team discussions.
