Overview

.NET Developer - Chester We are representing a leading retailer who are seeking an experienced .NET developer to work on a range of custom integration projects from their offices near Chester. You will work as a member of the existing Integration team on the latest Azure technologies (Functions, WebApps, Cosmos DB, SQL PaaS). In the past 12 months the team has been steadily moving over to a more micro-services\event driven architecture taking advantage of the cost and scaling benefits of serverless compute in Azure. Key Responsibilities: Execute software development tasks as part of a SCRUM sprint Perform peer reviews Collaborate with Architects as part of the design process Work with Business and Test Analysts to refine User Stories and their Acceptance Criteria Perform Spikes as part of the development process Investigate and assess new technology Essential skills: C# SQL Good understanding of SOLID principles Working knowledge of Design Patterns Desirable skills: Experience with the following technology stack: .Net Core Azure DevOps Serverless technologies Azure Service Bus / Rabbit MQ (or other message based stack) Cosmos Db Git Azure Functions Experience of TDD Interested?
