Software Developer Paddington, London £40,000 to £50,000 Pension Holiday Shareholder option Excellent opportunity to join rapidly growing start-up in an exciting and varied role, where you will be given the opportunity to learn and develop skills on the job from individuals with a combined 75 years' experience in Financial Markets, Software Development and Quant Trading. This company operate within the financial markets and are looking for a Software Developer to join their team in their aim to become the leading high frequency trading shop operating in the Crypto market. In this role you will join a tightknit team where you will work closely with a Senior Developer, developing code. This is a great opportunity to learn and develop your skills on the job. This role is office-based in Paddington, London. The ideal candidate will have Java / C++ or Go programming experience. They will have experience with SQL (ideally with NoSQL databases). Experience with network transport protocols (i.e. TCP and UDP), application level protocols such as HTTP and messaging buses or caches (i.e. Zero MQ, Redis or Kafka) is beneficial but not essential. An interest in or knowledge of Cryptocurrencies / Blockchain is essential - ideally you will be from a brokerage / fintech / financial related background.
