Overview
A Global Organisation currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their established but rapidly expanding Tech Hub in South Manchester. The team is responsible for the Build, Deployment and Maintenance of a series of high profile Mobile Applications. As well as ongoing build, deployment and maintenance, the team is also embarking on moving a large number of Apps to an internal aPaas Cloud, as well as an external AWS Cloud. What will you be doing? Working closely with development and Test Teams to deliver/maintain Test Environments & pipelines Developing, enhancing and supporting aPaas/AWS cloud Environments Supporting LIVE Environment build Supporting Monitoring Tools Integration Desirable Experience Some understanding of Openshift aPaas V3/AWS cloud environments Experience on SQL and Shell/Python/groovy Scripting Some knowledge on tools such as Jenkins Some knowledge of configuration tools such as Chef/Puppet/Ansible etc Some knowledge of containerisation and tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
