Position: Civil Infrastructure Engineer (Permanent Position) Salary: £30-40k Location: Leeds I am currently working in partnership with a large independent consultancy who are looking to expand their Civil Infrastructure design team in central Leeds. They are currently looking for a design engineer with a Civil Infrastructure background who has experience with s38,278,104 applications. The ideal candidate will be a 'hands on' design engineer who is looking to develop quickly into a Senior role. I am seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to work on the design of various infrastructure projects, take a leading role on schemes and develop quickly This role predominantly covers the Yorkshire but will occasionally include sites across the UK. The post is within the civil engineering design team which is responsible for the design of highway and drainage schemes for up to 500 plots. Experience in road (Section 38 & 278) and drainage (Section 104) design/applications is required and a working knowledge of Micro drainage, PDS and AutoCAD would be an advantage. The candidate must be eligible to live and work in the UK and will ideally have 2-3 years previous UK based consultancy experience within this field of work, or be a Technician looking to develop into an Engineer. The suitable candidate will possess:- - A recognised degree, or other academic qualification (certificate/diploma) in engineering along with an additional period of experience - A desire to progress their career by gaining a professional qualification - Knowledge and understanding of current technical standards - Excellent time and management skills - Good communication skills, both written and verbal - Commitment to continued professional development - A full UK Driving Licence On offer is a very competitive salary and package.
