Overview
Social Worker -Children - Caseload: 14 salary - between £33,000 to £43,000 depending on experience plus £4,000 bonuses NonStop Care is working with a small Local Authority in the Berkshire area in order to recruit for a permanent Social Worker for their Children in Need Team. They have a low caseload, which is 14 at the moment, so you will have a lot more time to work on each case. The cases are very close to each other, so you will not be required to travel too far. You will be able to finish work on time so you can have a better work - life balance. They are using the Family Safeguarding Model, which is a multidisciplinary multi-agency service, with court workers, Psychologists, Mental Health Workers, Domestic Abuse Workers, Adults Social Workers, all available in the same open space office. This means you will have access to information a lot easier and quicker. Since implementing FSM: Has seen a 49% drop in CP cases, 31% reduction in children subject to CP plans, Number of children missing reduced by 30%, 12% consistent reduction in children becoming Looked After. They have a Good Ofsted rating with Outstanding features, so you will be joining a nice working environment.
