Registered Nurse RGN/RMN/RNLD £17.51 per hour Full Time/Part Time Job Summary We are recruiting a Nurse on behalf of one of our clients within the Banbury Area. A successful candidate will demonstrate an empathetic and caring approach ensuring that the dignity and respect of our clients is maintained. Working within a specialist hospital environment, you will be responsible for providing the highest standards of nursing, clinical and personal support while promoting independence and choice to your clients. You will lead a team of support staff and ensure the smooth and efficient management of the shift, prioritising, planning and delegating of activities for the support of the team. Benefits · Auto-enrolment into the contributory pension scheme · Generous annual leave package · Option to increase hours and pay · Discounts at numerous high street retailers · Supportive and collaborative team environment Job Role Our successful nurses will:- · Work within a specialist nursing home environment (including non-elderly patients) · Be responsible for managing a team of support staff · Contribute to the ongoing assessment of clients, including assessing new clients and observing changes in health and well-being. · Be responsible for the ordering, safe storage & administration of medicines · Participate in training and development of support staff · Cover on-call for the service on a rota basis where required Education, Skills and qualifications In order to be considered for the position, our nurses will:- · Be a qualified Registered Nurse · Have a current registration with the NMC · Have thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse, being able to demonstrate effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures. · Have a basic understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance. · Agree to undertake an enhanced DBS check · Have experience of providing direct personal and social support (to have prior experience of working with people who have physical and/or learning disabilities would be advantageous) If you would like to be considered for this role, please contact Danny on 01473 517919, or apply now with an up to date CV.
