Serious Injury Legal Assistant

A leading Manchester City Centre law firm is currently looking to recruit an ambitious litigation legal assistant or paralegal to join the Catastrophic Loss Department. You will be required to have at least two years’ solid defendant experience at legal assistant level with strong academics, a minimum 2:1 Law degree and your LPC. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will be strong in IT, and will be a proven team player with a positive, can-do attitude and a commercial, pragmatic approach. The large Loss Department works with a variety of clients and has a reputation for responding innovatively to their needs, empowering staff to develop close working relationships and deliver a quality service whilst managing costs. As a legal assistant or paralegal within the team, you will assist on a range of litigated motor cases using the firm’s case management system, as well as assisting senior members of the team with more complex matters. You will have generalist personal injury experience including multi-track work and a keen interest in solving thorny legal issues.
