Overview
Fast growing technology company seeks Corporate / Commercial / IT Solicitor to work as In-house Legal Counsel. Based at the companies offices in Manchester, you will provide a broad range of commercial legal advice to key stakeholders and the group companies. Company: Our client is a diverse and entrepreneurial technology company with its headquarters in Manchester. The company is fast growing and acquisitive, and the leadership team have ambitious plans for further expansion. Role - In-house Legal Counsel To support the Group's continued ambitions, our client seeks to recruit a Corporate / Commercial / IT Solicitor to work as In-house Legal Counsel alongside the existing General Counsel. This is a brand new role aimed at supporting the company and its leadership team as they plan for further growth, diversification and expansion. Responsibilities: Duties include: providing legal advice on a wide range of legal and commercial issues; drafting and negotiating commercial contracts; updating Customer terms and conditions; working with the leadership team on strategic projects; and supporting the wider business and companies of the Group. In addition, you will work on other areas of law, such as: corporate governance, M&A, data protection, IP, advertising law, commercial litigation etc. About You: Applicants applying for this In-house Legal Counsel position should be working as a Corporate / Commercial / IT Solicitor at a leading regional, national or international law firm, or equivalent in-house department. Applicants are anticipated to have c. 2-6 years' PQE however this is only a guide. More senior applicants looking to work a 4 day week will also be considered.
