Overview
Our client is looking for a Finance Analyst to join their established, friendly team in this newly created position. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow and develop within an organisation, whilst gaining excellent business exposure. Key responsibilities: Prepare weekly/monthly results by category for review by the Finance Director Work alongside the Commercial Teams to understand the categories and present forecasting variances in weekly/monthly reporting Analyse, challenge and interpret the weekly and monthly results to provide detailed analysis and insight into variances in sales and margin Perform month end tasks, including revenue accruals, costs accruals/prepayments and stock loss validation for inclusion in the monthly management accounts Provide day-to-day financial support to the Commercial team including ad-hoc requests and analysis Build strong working relationships with key budget holders and stakeholders across the business. Ensure compliance with the financial and operational procedures of the Group Requirements: Strong Financial and analytical experience with experience of working with large data sets Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Understand the importance of adhering to tight deadlines Methodical and accurate working practice Strong excel skills Accountability for all actions and responsibilities AAT qualified and working towards CIMA / ACCA Benefits: £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience Study support Excellent career prospects Hours: 8:30 - 5:00pm - Monday to Friday 22 days holiday statutory holidays Free on-site parking Pension in line with auto-enrolment This position is based in Towceser and is within commutable distance of Northampton, Milton Keynes, Daventry, Brackley, Buckingham and Banbury Debbie Burbage Financial Recruitment is committed to equal opportunities and diversity.
