Overview
IT Sourcing Manager for Software Services required for 6 month contract in South London Your new company We are recruiting a 6 month initial contract (high likelihood of extension) with a market leading professional services organisation. This role is a Sourcing Manager role to sit within the special IT Projects team, leasing selection and negotiation of major IT suppliers for the business. Your new role As the Interim Sourcing Manager you will sit within the IT Projects team and support business to consumer project that they are rolling out. You will have a mix of responsibility across all Tier 2 vendors, supporting the data teams. You will be understanding the internal requirements when it comes to software services, and license agreements. You will be a solid negotiator and have a strong level of gravitas to liaise with the internal project team. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will have experience in a project lead role, where you can seek out new sourcing deals with leading software providers such as Cognizant, Salesforce, and Guidewire. The main stakeholder group you will be dealing with here are a close-knit unit, and they work in a very collaborative nature, so softer skills and engagement skills are paramount to succeed here. What you'll get in return In return you will receive a competitive day rate, and there is flexibility to work from home c. 2 days per week with the other days visiting the Bromley office, and some stakeholders within central London.
